Recreational Areas

  • Panderruedas (Municipal area of Posada de Valdeón): this area is on the mountain pass of the same name, close to the approach road to Posada de Valdeón. There are tables and a fountain.
  • Pandetrave (Municipal area of Posada de Valdeón): this area is on the mountain pass of the same name, close to the approach road to the Valdeón valley, which starts in Portilla de la Reina.
  • Vega Boyán (Municipal area of Posada de Valdeón): close to the reservoir of the same name, you can reach the recreational area down a short track which you can pick up just outside Posada de Valdeón heading towards Cordiñanes and Caín. There are tables, a fountain and an information board. The area is accessible for people with functional diversity.
  • Chorco de los Lobos (Municipal area of Posada de Valdeón): this recreational area is within the ethnographic site of the same name and next to the National Park information point, in the vicinity of the Monte Corona, next to the road from Posada de Valdeón to Caín. There are tables, a fountain and an information board. The area is accessible for people with functional diversity.
  • Mirador de la Reina (Municipal area of Cangas de Onís): this recreational area is next to the viewpoint that shares the same name. There are tables and an information board.
  • Buferrera (Municipal area of Cangas de Onís): in the service area of the same name, close to the Lakes of Covadonga and next to the Buferrera mining museum. This area has tables, toilets, a fountain and an arboretum.
  • Valle de Sobra (Municipal area of Tresviso): this recreational area is next to the viewpoint of the same name, on the road leading from Poncebos to Tresviso. There are benches and a fountain.
  • Fuente Dé: this recreational area is in the La Dehesa car park, next to the National Park information point. There are tables, a fountain and information boards.
